Year-Round Programs

JxJ is much more than an annual Festival—we present public programming all year round!

While the pandemic has shuttered our physical cinema space for now, we’ve been offering regular virtual presentations of the best in international and indie cinema, usually with filmmaker Q&As following.

Film and music appreciation classes taught by journalists, academics, and artists with topics ranging from “How Movies Are Made” to “Jewish Film Noir” the history of American Klezmer Music and more. Watch this space for a new slate of virtual classes set to start in June 2020.

We cannot wait to welcome our community back for in-person theatrical runs and sneak previews of new films, concerts, in-person classes, and more. We’re hard at work planning for the re-opening of our state-of-the-art cinema and performance space, Cafritz Hall, in September 2020.
